In 2022, I collaborated with The State Plate on a freelance project to design the packaging illustrations for their festive limited edition collector's legacy box. My role involved creating intricate, vibrant illustration that complemented the festive theme and elevated the overall unboxing experience for collectors and food enthusiasts alike, all in one week.
This project was one of the first I completed as a freelance visual designer. My process began with drawing thumbnail sketches of the illustration, which led to creating the final artwork after consistent back-and-forth communication with my client, Miss Muskaan Sancheti, CEO and Co-Founder of The State Plate, as featured on Shark Tank.
With a rough idea of the elements to begin with and the power of the pen and the pencil tool in illustrator combined, I worked on creating a scenery that would exude traditional legacy. With peacock as our country's national bird and the rich natural depiction in many folk artforms, my client and I had a pretty clear imagination to execution process.
