About Valorant:
Valorant is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Riot Games, where precision, strategy, and teamwork are key. Players take on the role of agents with unique abilities to battle in intense, round-based matches.
About Matchpoint:
Matchpoint was developed as part of a classroom project in publication design, where the objective was to create a visually engaging magazine that captured the dynamic world of Valorant. The project focused on designing for print, with a strong emphasis on layout, typography, and cohesive visual storytelling. It involved curating content around the game’s updates, releases, and competitive scene to build an immersive reader experience.

My Process:
To create Matchpoint, I started by researching and planning the content, ensuring I had permission to use Valorant assets for personal use. After gathering all the necessary resources, I sketched out several potential layouts, experimenting with the visual flow. I then crafted a small handbound mockup of the magazine to explore its tactile feel. Once the structure was set, I worked with a 6-column grid in Adobe InDesign to design the final layout, with consistency and clarity. Finally, the magazine was completed and ready for presentation.
